Job Title: CVOR Registered Nurse

Job Summary: As a CVOR RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional patient care and surgical support in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists, you will contribute to the success of complex cardiovascular procedures and surgeries.

Duties:

• Assist in preoperative preparations and intraoperative support for cardiovascular surgeries.
• Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia levels, promptly addressing any complications.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide postoperative care, educating patients and families on recovery.
• Accurately document patient care in compliance with regulations.

Skills:

• Two years of the following experience is required:
• Scrub and circulating experience
• IV insertion and phlebotomy skill
• conscious sedation experience

Certification/Licenses:

• A valid NY State RN License
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS

Schedule Notes:

• **RN must have experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room cases.
• RN must have two years of both scrub and circulating experience**
